Instruction

Park on a level surface, remove the dipstick tube cap and shift the transmission through gears with the idling engine.


Insert the dipstick into the transmission fluid checkhole, pull it out, and read the fluid level. Note: Dipstick will be longer than the tube.


Use an accurate scan tool to check the transmission fluid temperature with the transmission lever in reverse or any forward gear position.


Determine the correct fluid level by checking the dipstick and referring to the appropriate fluid level chart for your vehicle.
