Get rid of obnoxious SES light
Air temp sensor was identical to BMW sensor. It plugged in to stock harness and fit perfectly into the splash guard. My ECU was throwing the ambient air temp sensor code and the SES light turned off almost immediately following the installation of the sensor. Be prepared to solder if your wiring was like mine; ripped apart due to a blown tire. The whole job, including soldering took 15 minutes at most. Well worth my time, and well worth the few days wait considering local auto supply stores wanted and additional $37 more for the same sensor.
